  Platoon formation can very based on the situations and mission.   A platoon may have the following structure : 1. One up formation  2. Two up formation  3. Three up formation  1. One up formation : In this formation, one section of the platoon moves forward and two sections moves backward. This formation is best for advancing. 2. Obstacles training

  Obstacles training is very important part of Ncc training. This training not only makes the cadets physically strong but also inculcates high leval of self confidence in them so that they can faces the difficult challenges of life with courage and patience. Obstacles training ensures physical fitness, body agility, mental strength, coordination and balance of body and mind among the body.  It develops their risk taking ability, problem solving skills, and a sense of teamwork . This can also be considered as pre-practice for SSB test.  Obstacle course   There are usually ten obstacles in the obstacle course which the cadet have to cross by running, jumping, leaping and jumping over the wall. For this, it is essential to healthy and agile body , physical and mental balance, coordination, courage, self confidence and team sprit. These barrier are made of wood, bricks, concrete, sand and clay.  Each obstacles is at a distance of 25-30 feet from the other and has to be crossed by running
